Example of a Beginner Ride: Riding to Phoenix Lake, up Shaver to Five Corners and Down Deer Park Fire Road. Riding from Fairfax to the Ross Bike Path to Corte Madera Park and back.

Intermediate Riders:

Intermediate riders are confident on their bikes, comfortable riding up and down moderate hills with minimal breaks, and are able to ride for 5-10 miles.

Advanced Riders:

Advanced Riders are confident on their bikes on moderate technical terrain, are interested in climbing bigger hills with very few breaks and able to comfortably ride for 8-14 miles.  Examples of an Advanced Ride: Riding up Eldridge Grade to the East Peak. Riding Camp Tamarancho.
